ICE NW Management Prize Winner

The ICE North West Management Group awarded Liverpool University graduate Robert Byrne with the 2011 Undergraduate Prize

Stewart Tennant, Divisional Director of GHA Livigunn and Chair of the Management Group presented Robert with a certificate and a £250 cheque, the prize was sponsored jointly by GHA Livigunn and KMI Plus.

 The ICE North West Management Group prize is an annual competition intended to encourage imagination and lateral thinking by undergraduate students on management issues, Robert won the award for his paper on 'The Role of a Modern Industrial Manager’. Robert graduated university last year and now works for Byzak.

Stewart Tennant commented, "The ICE Management Prize is an important feature of the Management Group's activities to work together with local universities to encourage best practice and meet industry needs in the teaching of management within the syllabus of civil engineering degrees."
