RoSPA Silver Award 2009

GHA Livigunn, a multi-disciplinary engineering design consultancy with offices based in Frodsham and Cheadle, is celebrating winning one of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards in 2009.

The Silver Award, was presented to GHA Livigunn’s Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Manager, Dave Dowson, at the awards ceremony on Thursday, 14 May 2009 at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel, NEC. David Rawlins, RoSPA awards manager, said: “GHA Livigunn has shown a commitment to protecting the health and well-being of its employees and others.  Entering the RoSPA Awards reinforces the message that good health and safety is good for business, and clearly demonstrates an organisation’s dedication to improving performance in this crucial area.”

Mark Ingram, GHA Livigunn’s Managing Director, commented: “This is the first time the company has entered the RoSPA Awards and we were delighted to be given the Silver Award for Occupational Health and Safety.   Our commitment to the health and safety of our employees and visitors is paramount and we will continue to develop our management systems in Health, Safety and Environment to complement our external Quality certification.”
