We have been working for many years within the Nuclear Industry supporting them in modifying and upgrading their existing assets.

Projects range from straight forward modifications to complex process plants which are integrated into existing facilities. Effective designs with attention to detail pay even greater dividends when site works are limited by nuclear site operating constraints, and it is in these areas that our approach is becoming increasingly recognised and valued.

There are a number of areas where we can demonstrate the ability to produce cost effective, yet robust design solutions within the nuclear sector, these include;

  • FEA (Finite Element Analysis) of pipework attachments and structures
  • Mass/Heat Transfer calculations

Members of our team are security cleared for the sites we work on and are familiar with the stringent security requirements associated with data security. We are also regularly audited by our clients to ensure that these high security standards are maintained. We are approved by British Energy to handle restricted documents where required.
