3D Visualisation

Through a programme of infrastructure investment and development work, GHA Livigunn is now a fore runner in the application of 3D engineering design . However, our 3D capabilities aren’t limited to pure engineering. We are a founder member of The North West Centre for Excellence in 3D Visual Communication. Our understanding of engineering and plant operation coupled with our cutting edge 3D skills allow our models to be developed for a variety of uses. These include:-

  • Photo realistic images for project planning and justification
  • Interactive 3D walkthroughs or movies for operator training
  • Interactive 3D walkthroughs linked to plant O&M manuals

3D Modelling

Our Clients expect their plants to be ergonomically designed to meet operations, maintenance and safety requirements within short timescales and challenging budgets. Our Integrated 3D Designs are therefore precisely built from detailed engineering components such as pipework fittings and steelwork sections; exactly the components that will be used to build the real plant. This enables us to produce concise and detailed engineering drawings for the construction works.

  

Photo-realism 

The basic model provides plant visualisation and an interactive point of reference to a client. However it is the little details that can make the most impact.

With this in mind we can create a photo-realistic representation of a finished site well before construction starts. This model can then be used to produce still images, walkthroughs or construction sequences including animated content.
