Construction Sequencing

With the drive for ever decreasing project timescales, getting the sequence of construction tasks right can be the critical difference in the final quality and delivery date of the finished plant.

The use of 3 D design allows for craneage and installation studies to be undertaken very quickly and easily; highlighting not only how equipment can be installed, but additionally how it can be removed in future if necessary for maintenance or replacement. Moreover, the model can be linked to the construction programme, providing an animated sequence of how the build will progress to highlight any access problems, optimise scaffold usage etc.

The finished model is made available to the construction team, providing very clear reference as to how all the individual construction drawings (steelwork, isometrics and tray routes etc combine).
