Environmental Policy

GHA Livigunn is determined that all our operations are managed professionally, in a manner that incorporates assessment of environmental impact and takes appropriate action to keep any adverse impacts to a minimum. To achieve this, we maintain an environmental policy in line with the requirements of ISO 14001.

We will conduct our operations so as to comply with all UK legislation and in particular the Environmental Protection Act 1990 with its requirements to adopt best available techniques not entailing excessive cost.

We will ensure that environmental aspects of our operations are fully considered, both in terms of our own office operations and in the plants we design for the future. Specifically, we will do this by integrating good environmental management with the safe and efficient operation of the company.

We will comply fully with and keep abreast of all legal obligations covering our operations, requiring our employees and contractors to act in accordance with our environmental policy. We will also communicate this policy to our customers and seek their help in implementing it.

We will seek to minimise emissions and reduce waste from our activities, concentrating on areas where there is most room for improvement in order to make most impact.

We will aim to be sensitive in our management of natural and heritage features, taking into consideration the views of all those with an interest in our activities and working with them where appropriate.
