Company History 

Formed by the merger in 2006 of George Hutchison Associates (GHA) and Livingston Gunn Projects, the group was further strengthened by the addition of Birkett Stevens Colman Partnership (BSCP) in 2009, and can trace its roots back over 40 years.

With over 150 staff and a turnover circa £10m per annum, GHA Livigunn are one of the leading independent Engineering Consultancies in the UK, working on projects that range in value from £10k to £100m .

We are proud of our success and recognition from professional bodies, achieving many awards both regional and national in the fields of structural engineering, health and safety, environmental sustainable design and pioneering design with emerging technologies.

Company milestones

2012: Leeds office moved to new premises in Troy Mills, Horsforth

2010: New office opens in St Albans

2009: GHA Livigunn acquire Birkett Stevens Colman Partnership (BSCP)

2007: Group re-branded as GHA Livigunn

2006: George Hutchison Associates and Livingston Gunn Projects merge
