November 2008: Construction News QiC awards
GHA Livigunn successfully supported KMI plus and United Utilities Integrated Alliance North with their submissions in 2 categories of the prestigious Construction News QiC awards. In the Collaborative Engineering Design category the Integrated Alliance North team was highly commended and Ridgaling WTW was the winner in the £5-50m value project category. GHA Livigunn have been a tier 1 design consultant to KMI throughout the AMP 3 and AMP 4 frameworks and carried out the detailed civil and structural design at Ridgaling.
May 2008: IStructE Award 2008
GHA Livigunn has received The Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) 2008 North West Region Structural Awards’ Award for Small Project. The award was earned for the company’s innovative design solution for Top o’ th’ Cow service reservoirs, located on an exposed hillside outside Bolton.
GHA Livigunn Director, Stewart Tennant, said: "Winning this second IStructE award was a particular cause for celebration for everyone at GHA Livigunn. Without a doubt, the design of the Top o' th' cow service reserfoirs was one of the most technically demanding structural engineering projects of my career - and one of the most challenging design projects faced by GHA Livigunn."
